Equipment Providers

Have a hearing test first: especially if has been a while since your last one. Your hearing may have deteriorated or your hearing aid may need adjusting - ask for a repair appointment at audiology . Hearing aids available on the NHS have improved greatly and keep up with the latest tech - often being just one or two models behind.

Finding the right equipment can make a huge difference to your quality of life. It is important to find something that works well for you so take time to talk to experts.  Deaflink has a small amount of demonstration equipment and can also refer you to suppliers able to discuss your needs

Before buying equipment find out what your local authority can provide, some items are free of charge.
