Hearing Loss Support Group

This event has passed.

Hearing Loss Support Group

8 October -This will be Louises last meeting and day of working for Deaflink

The meeting runs from 2:00pm -3:30pm (Louise will be there from 1:30 and until 4:00pm to answer any hearing related queries you may have)

Booking IS ESSENTIAL please contact Louise McGlen to book  louisemcglen@deaflink.org.uk

Speaker is Marie Igo a Specialist Deafblind Worker and Northeast Manager of Deafblind Enablement

New VENUE None of the venues, we have used for Hearing Loss Support Group meetings recently have been ideal (especially in terms of background noise) so we are trying out a new venue which has a loop system and is an accessible building; we will still have a palantypist (speech to text) as well as utilizing the loop. The downside is that it is not in the city centre, but it is very close to transport links.

Address Community Foundation, Philanthropy House, Woodbine Road, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 1DD

Parking There is a car park outside of the building

Buses There are several buses from either the Haymarket and other areas of Newcastle that go along Gosforth High Street and stop close to the building. if you need help to work out your best option, please let me know

Metro It is a 10-minute walk from Regent Centre metro and a 15-minute walk from South Gosforth metro
